What is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFIT), and is it right for you?
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is best known as a couple counselling approach. From its inception, however, it has been used to support individuals, especially those dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma and stress-related disorders.
Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) focuses on you as an individual. It will help you to move beyond feeling overwhelmed or stuck, enabling you to trust your experiences once again and develop the confidence to be yourself with others. Our work together will deepen your relationship satisfaction, increase self-acceptance levels, and raise your capacity for compassion.
Our work aims to help you feel more mentally balanced, whilst fostering flexibility in response to change or challenges and cultivating an openness to new ways of thinking in what you do and who you are.
